THE EARTH ECHO CONCEPT
WEAR HEADPHONES
"The earth has music for those that listen"
- Anonymous
An immersive ecological sound harmony project co-created by sound engineers, visuals artists, musicians and sound healers, collaborating on artistic audio and visual content around a central theme of ecological conservations, bringing about altered states of awareness from deep within our inner worlds.
Imagine you're in the rainforest. You hear the trees rustling and gibbons calling. The rain is falling and the sudden sound of a powerful thunderbolt moves through your body. Now imagine yourself standing on a mountainside as 70mph howling winds blow and whistle in all directions, and you catch the smell of lemon verbena as you breathe in. This is the Earth Echo experience. It is a 360, fully immersive ecological and wellness experience. Earth Echo combines 3D audio field recordings of nature with ancient healing instruments. The audio is spatialised in a 360° environment and mixed with scent dispersion - for a unique, and healing sound bath experience that induces a deep state of meditation with nature's resonance. Experience Mind+Body Earth Echoes through immersive events and retreats and online spatialised audio content.
A 360° sound health model
A total immersion of the senses within a sonic environment based on our 360° model will help alleviate stress receptors, attuning the mind and body into a state of sound health.
Our immersive events, workshops and retreats deploys a 360° sound health model to flood the senses with nature's resonance to stimulate our stress receptors back to equilibrium that's disrupted by busy modern day lifestyles. We do this by combining natural healing scent dispersion, powerful ancient healing tools, spatialised sounds and vocals and carefully curated animal and wildlife sounds chosen for their potential to trigger ancient memories, emotions and sensations; flooding the audiences' senses, allowing them to feel the essence of nature within and without.
360° spatial technology
We amplify nature's call using immersive technology, exploring and creating content in 360° audio as binaural headset tracks.
Our immersive experience is based on a 360° speaker setup with programmable spatialised audio that can place and manuerve sound as objects in a 360 space, giving a sonically rich and engaging experience that's hyper-realistic with sound on our ears, many of which have yet to experience.
Our content can be programmed into any speaker setup for events and can be adjusted to any size space, making the experience scalable.
The health benefits
Everything in our universe is energy, frequency and sound' - this includes our body - the sonic enviroments we are exposed to have an effect on our health and mental states, whether we're conscious of it or not. Imagine being in a city with siren's passing by every minute...how it can leave you feeling. In physics, we know that sound travels through water 4 times faster than air; the fact that the amount of water in the human body ranges between 45-75% can help us to understand the possible effects of sound on our bodies as vibrations. Here are some of the well-known therapeutic benefits of sound healing and nature itself:
-
Communicate on a cellular level with our bodies through powerful resonance of instruments to harmonise and clear dissonance of the mind and bodily functions, promoting regulation of our cellular health, its optimum function and nature.
-
Activate the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) to shift mind and body out of fight or flight mode by switching off the Sympathetic Nervous System and activating the Parasympathetic Nervous System; reducing anxiety and stress to promote the body’s regulation and innate abilities to self heal.
-
Entrains the brain to a calmer state of being for relaxation (alpha and theta state) and reach the sub-conscious mind for re-programming.
-
Promotes deep inner listening, relaxation to re-establish mind-heart connection and to nature and ourselves.
-
Sound healing is also known to trigger visions, emotions and memories during sessions that can bring about insights into the deeper recesses of our being to be acknowledged and released.
"Overexposure to manmade environments was believed to cause “excessive nervous tension, over-anxiety, hasteful disposition, impatience and irritability”
The acoustic patterns produced by bioacoustics and elements of the earth have positive effect on our mental activity and our cells. Observing the acoustic environment we are exposed to can bring great insight into how much noise pollution we are surrounded by 24 hours a day due to man-made environments - aircrafts, speeding cars and technology. It's becoming a lot harder to find spaces that are not impacted by human behaviour, which highlights the importance of perserving natural habitats now more than ever.

Cellular health
and sound
Our bodies are made up of over a trillions cells and are on a sub-atomic level exhibit spin through wave form. Sound effects how matter is formed, we can therefore effect the spin frequency using sound. The structure of our cells and the quality of the spin can be be understood by looking at cymatics and can help us to visualise and understand how sound can form the structure of our cells on a molecular level.
Cymatics:
The science of sound as visuals
Cymatics is the visualisation of sound. The term was coined a Swiss physician and natural scientist, Hans Jenny (1904-1972) to describe the acoustics effects of soundwave phenomena.
CYMATICS: in British English
(saɪˈmætɪks)
NOUN (functioning as singular)
1. PHYSICS
the study of wave phenomena, esp sound, and their visual representations
2. a therapy in which sound waves are directed at the body with the aim of promoting health

Blood and cellular health with sound and vibration
Sound baths also known as a ‘vibrational massage’ can help to dramatically stimulate and increase blood flow - causing our blood cells to be more dynamic, symmetrical and clearer.

"It's true: The sound of nature helps us to relax"
The gentle burbling of a brook, or the sound of the wind in the trees can physically change our mind and bodily systems, helping us to relax. New research explains how, for the first time.
- SCIENCE DAILY
There are many scientific research papers available that studies how nature sounds and environments has an positive effect on our health and well-being.
But we don't need such studies to prove it, we encourage our fellow earthlings to sit in such spaces to experience it for themselves. Nature sounds calms the nervous system and allows for space for mental clarity, creativity and a sense of inner peace.
