Time to yourself:

There are plenty of planned ‘time out’ moments peppered throughout the weekend when you can soak up and integrate your experiences or simply chill if you feel like sitting out a session.

Weather permitting: As a backup, we’ve made contingency plans for a washout weatherwise, so come rain or shine, our weekend in nature will still be wild and meaningful.

Giving Back to Earth Causes:

The last step of feeling good and re-energised is the ability to give back (without feeling resentful or depleted). We’ll model this through our collaboration with Love Support Unite (LSU), which will feature a special African sound journey, crafted in support of LSU's sustainable food program in Malawi, Africa.

Furthermore, as part of Earth Echo’s Earth Cause promise, 20% of the funds raised from this retreat will support Love Support Unite’s sustainable food program for families in Malawi. Accommodation: Sleep on the lush green lands of Carreglwyd Estate. Tickets are available for camping (2 nights for £40, 3 nights for £60, sleeps 2 people) or glamping (£100 for 2 nights, £150 for 3 nights, sleeps 4 people) for the entire duration of your stay. This paid in addition to the Standard Entry Pass, just select the accommodation options yourself and it’ll be added to the cart. How to get there:

CLOSEST AIRPORT

The nearest airport to Anglesey is Isle Of Man (IOM) Airport which is 59.4 miles away. Other nearby airports include Liverpool (LPL) (61.7 miles), Dublin (DUB) (80.2 miles), Manchester (MAN) (85.8 miles) and Birmingham (BHX) (122.4 miles).

BY CAR

Head for Bangor and exit east on the A55 towards Anglesey. Take the A55 all the way to Valley where you will start to see signs to the festival. Take junction 3 off the A55 towards Valley, take a right at the roundabout (4th exit). Continue to the cross roads and take another right onto the A5025, follow this for approximately 8 miles until you reach the village of Llanfaethlu. At the approach to the village bear left at the ‘Y’ junction, continue straight up and over the hill and you will begin to see the gates to the festival on your right.

BY TRAIN

The nearest train station is Holyhead and it takes approximately 3.5 hours from London (Direct from Euston), 2 hours from Manchester. 

BY TAXI

There will be numerous taxis available at Holyhead train station, there will be a queuing rank in place where you can wait for a taxi, it is unlikely that drivers will be taking bookings. Taxi rates to and from site are £25 each way. You will dropped at the main ticket gate and there will be an onsite taxi rank for departure.

Jules Cooper is a professional forager and wild weaver from the Isle of Anglesey. She steadfastly preserves native hedgerows and wild spaces, teaching workshops on wild plants.

Yoga with Hélène Costecalde

Hélène is a passionate Mindfulness and Yoga teacher with over a decade of experience. Hélène is an energetic, fun-loving and passionate Mindfulness and Yoga teacher, with 880 hr Yoga Alliance YTT certification and over a decade’s experience working as a Primary School teacher and Head of Early Years. Hélène believes in a holistic approach to childhood “education”, which all starts with the surrounding adults. Aiming to regain connection with our own inner child and thus our core centre, is a strong belief of Hélène’s and can be experienced throughout her sessions. From flowing through asanas, to easing into deeper stretches of Yin, to using deep restorative techniques, to achieving Theta states in yoga Nidra and mindfulness meditation, Hélène hopes that you will find the centre of you and take this remembering off the mat into all that you do.
