Phonosphere – A 360° Spatial Sound Bath
Step inside the Polygon Portal Listening Room for a special presentation of Phonosphere, a collaborative spatial sound bath by Robot Koch x Earth Echo.
Originally composed for Polygon Live London (May 2025), Phonosphere merges Earth Echo’s nature-based field recordings and bioacoustic textures with the cinematic, emotionally rich electronic compositions of Robot Koch’s Allow album. The work unfolds as an evolving sonic landscape inspired by natural habitats, weaving together environmental recordings and atmospheric electronic textures, featuring the voice of Peia.
For the Polygon Portal Listening Room, the piece has been adapted into an intimate 360° spatial listening experience, where audiences sit within an enveloping sound field as the composition moves through the space—encouraging deep listening and a sense of immersion within the sound itself.
